RM Watson Manager / Supervisor Swing stage Safety Standards 

This course delivers a comprehensive information session on Swing Stage Management, care, use and maintenance.

It is delivered as a half day, on site session, incorporating a theory-based swing stage planning and management overview, with a facilitated practical element, and site walk viewing components of swing stage installations

The RM Watson Policy & Procedures are reviewed in context, and WHS Laws , COP's and relevant Standards and Manufacturer technical advice are addressed.

The practical element includes startup, operation and shut down procedures for swing stages.

Known hazards and controls and emergency management are included.

Swing stage user behaviour expectations are detailed, and human behaviour impacts on safe use are explored.

This session provides an opportunity for RM Watson Managers and Supervisors to consult, and share valuable learnings on swing stage management.

Course Durations

Course durations can vary for multiple reasons, so the durations below are the minimum possible amount.

Face-to-Face Face to Face contact time of at least 4 Hours

RM Watson nominated Managers, Supervisors and other authorised contractors or employees.

This certificate does not require renewal

1. Identify & apply relevant WHS requirements in context

2. Recognise appropriate RM Watson P&P documents and responsibility areas

3. Recognise SS installation components and terminology and serviceable / unserviceable conditions

4. Undertake a methodical SS installation inspection

5. Complete RM Watson SS reporting documents

6. Recognises required SS operator competency skill set

7. Recognise emergency and breakdown conditions and appropriate responses

This course does not lead to a nationally recognised certificate
